This page lists our lines of Multi-Mode Fiber Optic Cables which come in several standards for any applications they can be used in. From an original solution to today’s OM4, we carry all multimode fibers whether they reach 1, 100 or a higher GB/s. These products will use different technologies, such as 850 nm laser light sources with a modal bandwidth in thousands of MHz / km. While OM1 is usually 62.5/125, other optical types are normally 50/125, meaning the core is smaller (50 microns). The cable has a diameter of 2.0 or 3.0mm. Each OM standard is backwards compatible within a network, provided that the size is equal.
