This is a really nice coax preparation tool for the money. The adjustable blades allow simple minor bladehight adjustments so you can use it on RG-6 dual shield, RG-6 tri-shield and even RG-6 quad shield. The tool comes with a hex wrench nested in the bottom of the tool for making blade adjustments.
The center conductor and braid shield are both cut back 1/4" when the coax is lined up even with the end of the orange cutter bracket - OR - you can expose a little longer length (if you prefer) by simply extending the coax a fraction beyond the end of the cutter bracket. The braid exposed remains at 1/4".
