Shielded Cat6a Cables - Red
CAT 6A Shielded Patch Cables are made using F/UTP 26 gauge copper wire. What is F/UTP? It is short for Foil over Unshielded Twisted Pair but this does not mean the these Cat 6a Shielded patch cables are not shielded, it's just that when asking what's the difference between STP and FSTP the Foiled version tends to be more flexible making them easier to work with. If running very long lengths thru walls and drop ceilings STP Cat6 may indeed be better but with shorter patch cables that need to bend more f/utp these cat 6a shielded patch cables are perfect as they can still reduce crosstalk and EMI, besides crimping your own... can be a bit of a pain to be honest.
