Our Shielded CAT6a Ethernet Cables are made with 26 gauge foiled/unshielded twisted pair stranded copper making them ideal for use in todays networking environment where 10GB speed needs to deliver. Being shielded category 6A (The A stands for Augmented) means they reduce outside interference such as cross talk and EMI. Keep in mind that your experience is only as good as your weakest (slowest) link meaning that if you do not use a shielded cat6a jack or somewhere down the line there's a cat5 cable things can obviously change.
