Mode conditioning cables, also known as mode conditioners or mcp cables for short, were made to connect singlemode and multimode optical fiber cables. Usually connecting these cables causes a kind of signal interference referred to as differential mode delay or differential mode dispersion (DMD for short), but our mode conditioning patch cables connect these multimode fiber plants and single mode fiber optic patch cable products as seamlessly as possible.
