OM1 Mode Conditioning Fiber

This page contains all of our OM1 mode conditioning fiber patch cable products which can be divided into the following three categories: ST, SC, and LC Mode Conditioners. All of the mode conditioning patch cables, or MCP cables for short, in each of these categories comes with ends that have multimode fiber plants corresponding to the category's connector type. Regardless of their connector type, address the problem knwon as differential mode dispersion or differential mode delay. Known as DMD for short, this issue is a kind of interference resulting from an improper connection between multimode cables and single mode fiber patch cables. Thanks to their mode conditioning properties such as their 1000Base- LX based transmission equipment, these mode conditioning cables can overcome this problem with DMD that a normal fiber optic patch cable would have.
