FC MTRJ patch cord comes with a yellow jacket and is offered in a variety of lengths. FC MTRJ fiber 9/125 is a single mode duplex zip-cord cable with a diameter of 2.0mm. One end of the patch cable has the MTRJ connector (Mechanical Transfer Registered Jack) it is a very small connector useful in smaller sized devices, it uses rectangular ferrules. On the other end of the MTRJ FC fiber, is the FC connector (Ferrule connector, Fiber channel, or Field Assembly connector) this connector is used in high-vibration environments, it uses a threaded socket and plug for stronger contact.
