The Apex© controller developed by Neptune Systems© is a powerful tool which has been widely adopted by the hobbyist community and professionals alike. We have been approached to build cables of specific lengths to tidy up the look as well as different colors to help them stand out. We are able to build cables similar to the Aquabus cable© tailored to your specific needs. If you simply want some nice orange cables to go with the equipment we can do that, if you need certain lengths, long or short, we can do that as well.
Need a longer cable, don't settle for a Male - Female extension cable as that is just one more point of a potential failure. Let us build precisely what you are looking for. We'll admit that they are not hard to build, the average person with a little soldering experience could probably build these themselves but if you'd rather not source the parts and possibly have alot of cable left over or if you just don't have the time, we do. Aquabus cables should never be combined with regular USB cables or devices. Connecting other devices such as cell phones, computers etc. can cause serious damage to your Apex equipment and possibly the device you connect to it. While they do use the standard 4 pin “A type” USB connector your aquarium controller equipment runs on a different voltage and does not support the standard USB interface.
