The Cat6 shielded plenum cables available here are just one type of the custom Cat6 patch cables we carry here at Cables for Less. We can easily build plenum Cat6 patch cords up to 325 feet in length, and, a standard UTP cable, each shielded plenum cable has an internal shield to reduce the effects of interference such as crosstalk, RFI, and EMI. The most requested features are noted in the options above, such as whether to include connectors and boots on both ends or the kind of wiring configuration to use, but we can also build more specialized products based on the notes left in the Special Notes text field above. The fact that these are Plenum rated cables (also known as CMP rated cables) means they safe for use in HVAC areas and other Plenum spaces where more basic cabling, such as Riser rated cables, are insufficient.
