Custom Plenum Cat5e solid cable hand-crafted by our Cables for Less team in Indiana since 1996. We are often asked, “what is plenum cable?” Plenum cable has a fire retardant jacket, to reduce smoke and toxic fumes in case of a fire. The CMP cable is installed into a plenum space which is a separate space provided for air circulation for AC, heating and ventilation. You can get your completed cat5e plenum cable with or without boots or with or without connectors. We will even remove a small portion of the jacket on your cable assemblies, if you wish to complete the connector installation yourself. If you have a special wiring need for your plenum cables you do not see listed – not a problem!
