Cat 6a Cable | Slim Cat 6A, UTP | 6 Inch Green
Not sure what the differences between cat 6 v cat 6a are we'll try to explain. It primarily comes down to cost and speed. When it comes down to it both cat6 vs cat6a ethernet cables are capable of gigabit Ethernet and transferring data at speeds of 10gbps cat6a cabling is needs to meet stricter guidelines and is therefore able to meet these demands at longer lengths with more reliability. While on the surface both Ethernet cables seem to be the same with cat6 and cat6a both looking like your average network cable with rj45 connectors etc. a cat6a cable is wound tighter, the utp cable, UTP is short for Unshielded Twisted Pair, are twisted together more tightly which minimize crosstalk interference and thus deliver a more reliable signal at longer lengths. So the difference between cat 6 and cat 6a patch cables can be great. Being backwards compatible if it's in the budget you're better off going with a category 6a patch cable, especially in a place of business.

as advertised
So I purchased some cheap cables from amazon and got what we paid for, they were no faster than regular cat6 and in fact had a few that were bad right away with packet loss and errors. We then decided to try a few from different sources, cables for less being one of a few we tested, we were very happy with these and came back to purchase more. I've personally installed dozens now and am very pleased overall. As thin as these are they still perform as advertised with speeds well above most.
